BEHST Builders has completed a broad range of products. While some builders may focus on just new construction or remodeling, we believe it is imperative to be proficient in both. Our crews learn valuable lessons by working on remodels and seeing what installations have failed and why. We can take these learnings into our new construction. We also like picking up new finish details to help make each project unique. Below we have picked a few of our favorite projects, but we have many others.

162 Twine Street, St. Augustine Florida
This new single family residence is being built in the heart of Lincolnville. The house was designed by BEHST Builders, Inc. The owner wanted contemporary, but architectural review guidelines required certain roof pitches. The design incorporates mechanically operated awning windows and large openings for natural ventilation. The rear elevation will feature a set of panelized doors 14' long that will completely open the house to the outdoors when the weather permits. Construction began on this custom home in March, 2008 and will be completed by December, 2008.

36 Bayview Drive, St. Augustine Florida
The focus of this project was the addition of approximately 850 square feet along with a new screened rear porch and front entry. The owners of this residence in the North City neighborhood just north of downtown St. Augustine needed additional space for a growing family. Steve Schuyler A.1.A. came up with a very efficient way to add the spae they needed. BEHST Builders worked with the owner to complete finish selections and then implemented the project. The project started in January, 2008 and construction was completed in April, 2008. As we recommended, the owners moved into temporary housing for 8 weeks during the most intensive phases of construction.
